What is lake district catering

A private dinner party chef will come and cook for you at your home in the lake district.

Our menus very rarely stay the same at Realfood Chefs. 

We do our best to source produce locally' and have adopted the old fashioned way by talking to our suppliers.

We are able to cater for all tastes from Ribeye Steak to Spiced Cauliflower Steaks.

Blade of Cumbrian Beef 'and our whole shoulder of lamb' is cooked for 18 hours and is simply divine with a rich pan gravy.

The Lake district is Close to the Irish sea so it makes sense to buy our fish direct from the  fishermen.

Our Beef lamb and pork is also bought locally as we believe that Sustainability and knowing where our ingredients comes from is also an important part of making your event extra special.

But of course we have to be realistic, some ingredients we have to buy from outside the area.

Q:How much does it cost to hire a private chef in the lake district.

  A:Our prices start at £34.95.

(Questions we are often asked)

Q:Can we all choose what we want individually.

A: Yes absolutely , however for parties over 12 it is advised to choose 3 + 3 + 3.

Q:We would like to sit down for 8pm ,What time will you arrive.

A:On the day of your event much of the hard work will have been done already meaning that we will need a couple of hours to meet with you all and get set up, so if your eating at 8pm , expect us at 6pm.

All prices are subject to change as costs for the produce to cook the menus goes up or down.
